Terms of Service
Version 2026-07-11 · Last updated: 11 July 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of AppChain™ (the "Service"), operated by the AppChain™ team ("we", "us"). By creating an account, ticking the acceptance box during sign-up, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
This page is maintained by the AppChain™ team to describe the current terms for using the platform. It is not legal advice; for enterprise procurement, please contact us for a signed agreement.
1. Eligibility & Accounts
The Service is intended for businesses and professionals in the fashion, textile, artisan-craft and logistics sectors. You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to bind the organisation you represent. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide (including the role you select at sign-up: brand, supplier, artisan, or logistics) and for all activity under your account. Keep your credentials confidential; notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorised access.
2. Roles on the Platform
AppChain™ matches Brands (buyers issuing briefs) with Suppliers, Artisans and Logistics partners (respondents). Some features are restricted to specific roles. You may only use features available to your assigned role, and you may not create multiple accounts to circumvent these restrictions.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights;
- submit false, misleading, or infringing content (including counterfeit designs, forged certifications, or misrepresented capacity);
- scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to bypass access controls, rate limits, or bot protections;
- upload malware or content that harasses, defames, or endangers other users;
- use the platform to circumvent a matched counter-party and evade platform fees where they apply.
4. Briefs, Bids & Deals
Brands may post briefs; suppliers, artisans and logistics providers may respond with bids and enter deal conversations. AppChain™ facilitates the match but is not a party to any commercial agreement concluded between users. You are solely responsible for due diligence, contracting, payment, delivery, quality control and dispute resolution with your counter-party. We may provide optional tools (messaging, offer tracking) to help you conduct business, without warranting outcomes.
5. Your Content & Licence
You retain ownership of all content you submit — briefs, catalogues, images, capability profiles, sustainability documents and messages ("Your Content"). By submitting Your Content, you grant AppChain™ a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, process and display it for the purpose of operating and improving the matching service, and to share it with the specific counter-parties you engage with through the platform. You represent that you have the rights necessary to grant this licence.
6. AI-Assisted Matching
The Service uses automated systems, including large language models, to summarise briefs, suggest matches and draft messages. AI outputs may be imperfect. You are responsible for reviewing suggestions before acting on them. We do not use your private brief or catalogue data to train third-party foundation models.
7. Fees
Core matching is currently offered free of charge during our early-access period. We will give reasonable advance notice before introducing paid plans or transaction fees, and any fees will be presented before you incur them.
8. Suspension & Termination
You may close your account at any time from Account settings, or by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, pose a security or trust-and-safety risk, or that we are required to suspend by law. Where practical we will give notice and an opportunity to cure. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (content licence for material already shared, disclaimers, liability limits, governing law) will survive.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation. We do not verify the identity, quality, ethics or certifications of any counter-party unless explicitly stated.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AppChain™ and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or exemplary damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or (b) THB 1,000.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold AppChain™ harmless from claims arising out of Your Content, your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your dealings with counter-parties matched through the Service.
12. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. When we make material changes we will bump the version number shown at the top of this page and notify signed-in users. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Bangkok, Thailand, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.
